The attached set is composed of shots from my hike up the Brighton Lakes Loop that either got overlooked or did not seem to fit with other postings.

Again, I would appreciate your feedback on any shots you like or dislike. Suggestions are also welcomed.

Well done, Mike. There is never a lack of beauty to discover and photograph in nature.

The shutter speed you used for #1 is perfect IMO. You captured the force of that fast-moving stream perfectly!

The lone dead tree is gorgeous. Your lower angle and close framing makes this another home run IMO

Beautiful set Mike. I agree with Linda on No. 1 It's so nice to see running water not flowing whipped cream. My second choice would be No. 2. There is just something there that just grabs me.

These are all great shots, Mike! IMHO: a little tighter crop on 2, 3 and 4 could be interesting.
#2 just coming in a little tighter on those flowers but keeping your wonderful reflections.
#3 perhaps a vertical crop to bring out the wildflowers but keep the perspective over the rise of the hilltop?
#4 taking the dirt out and pulling those beautiful wildflowers in a little closer. I really like the sky in this one!!
The water, lone tree and trail shots are just right to my eye!!
Just a few thoughts, since you asked. These are some wonderful odds and ends from a great hike, Mike! Well done again!

Mike, that “easy” trail looks like a sprained ankle waiting to happen. Really great series.

Thanks, Jack, I am drawn to running water and not a fan of the cream. The second shot just grabbed my attention, no crop, just what I wanted.

Thanks, Barbara, they do that after they lure old people up the trail with an "easy" rating (LOL).
