Along Comes A Spider....

This is an orb weaver spider that is part of the collection gifted to me by my son and grandson that I staged for a focus stacking session at 5X magnification.

Thanks, JimmyTB. I believe this is a female based on its pedipalps which are thin. The male pedipalps look like they have little 'boxing gloves' on them.

Curmudgeon, thanks for taking me back to those old horror movie days when I was a lad going to the Sunday Matinée. The newer movie that gave me the creeps however was "Arachnophobia".
