I posted the face of the beetle yesterday and this is its wing section which I thought made an interesting pattern with its veins and subtle colorations. This is a 1:1 macro image.

I fully agree. One has to branch out a try new "artsy" areas, and this attempt is really successful.

Mark, I got a reply asking about a "Dobsonfly" and after looking at pictures of the females on the internet, I believe that this is one of them that was included in the collection gifted to me by my son and grandson.
