These pics aren’t for the faint of heart as the cormorant feeding it’s young can be a little alarming. It looks violent, and the young are extremely persistent. But it’s an interesting feat and a definite example of the parental care they give. I thought I’d start with a more aesthetic pic of a kingfisher with successful catch before diving into the cormorants! Hope you find this post interesting!

A great set with awesome captures...
All are good but that kingfisher shot is amazing !!!! My wife and I have spent hours getting these ...?*s in flight....AWESOME!

I’ve spent hours, too! Those kingfishers aren’t that close to me, fly in very fast and take off immediately (compared to the osprey) for parts unknown to eat the fish. I got lucky finally! Thanks Reconvic!
