The Rose Moon was rocking and rolling above Calgary, Alberta last night as I shot this session. Lots of atmospheric motion…
I did stacks of the best three and seven subs; however, the single image was the best of the lot (noisy but still the best detail!).

Neat shot, Love the color. I noticed the moon was this color last night at moon rise but I didn't take shots of it.

Nice. By the time I get to see the moon, it's usually too high to get much color. Our horizon is 1,200ft above us.

I know the feeling. I had to drive out of our valley to get the shot; otherwise, I'd be in the same situation as you.

I was looking at a color coded temperature map of the western USA and saw that the colors didn't go high enough to properly show the temperature in parts of California.
We're under a 'heat bubble' ourselves at present with temperatures in the 30C++'s (86F++'s) with an unheard of high of 42C (108F) on our deck yesterday! The only God sent is being in the Foothills where temperatures drop rapidly at night.

That was the norm in Wyoming when I lived there. It might get warm/hot a bit in the summer, but typically the temperature dropped 50 degrees at night. Which made sleeping good.
As of yesterday I'm back to normal duty. Whatever normal is...
We have the seasonal thunderheads, and other cloudiness to contend with.

Well, I'm not the one needing to run laps...
Mostly, she would like my sub-assemblies and stuff out of the corner of the dining area of the house.
Before surgery I did assemble my heavies outside so I could add the telescope and computer stuff, under a nice big cover with my smaller cover under, and my 32 gallon dome over all.
I got adventurous the other day and did some mechanical function tests in prep for getting back out there real soon.
I'm back on "Normal Duty" now. Just need the weather and temperature to settle.
Now if I had a small building, just open and get going.
I'll wear her down, just takes time.

That's what I decided to do. All my tripods and mounts are out of the house, along with many of my tools. It helped my garage a lot too. Best place to buy sheds that I have found is shedsforless.com

Having the bulk of my Mount set up has been a real time saver, as it turns out. I've done spoilt myself now.
I carry out my telescope from the clamp up, then carry out my electronics, and in under 5 minutes I'm doing my Polar Alignment. I was so "out-of-the-game" that my subscription to SharpCap had expired in April. So I have a new subscription based on July 4th.
But I was concerned about the mount being plumb after 6 months of non-use. Turned out it had stayed plumb and only one leg needed the tiniest tweak to bob it into 0.0 degrees. So not dismantling, and reconstructing my mount every use has added a lot to things being nearly dead on so far.
But getting a shed, and making it into a ROR (Roll Off Roof), or a ROS (Roll Off Shed) is appealing to me.
So what I've looked at has been towards Modifiable Ready Build's.
I don't think the wife would go for something of an outhouse by the pool, but I would. LOL!
I can't sink a pier. And I think I'd still rather keep the portability for the mount. Although, traveling with the gear is somewhat of a non- reality as it works out.
So a shed is gaining a lot of appeal with me, especially of late.
