My younger daughter (she's 45) joined us at the Brigantine (NJ) shore last week and then stayed at our home for a few more days until she returned to her husband and farm in Rhode Island today. She wanted a new photo for her website (she's a Shaklee distributor) and for her dog training business cards. I found some shade in our yard and positioned her about 15 feet in front of a dense green bush for background. I used a shallow dof (2.8), 1/200 sec, Nikon 24-70mm lens at 70mm; and ISO 100. Processed in Affinity Photo.

Nice shot ecobin. One of those that looks a lot better with the download. Only one suggestion, a tiny little bit more hair on the left if you can change the crop? I'm one that thinks the Nikon 24-70 at 2.8 is a brilliant portrait lens and I think you nailed this shot with good pose and framing. An attractive subject helps of course.

Thanks Tony. I agree with you and my daughter also mentioned the same - but, that' how I shot it and she didn't want to go out and do a retake.
The highlight leads my eye directly to her shoulder.
