Finally, discovered HOW to install them...

The issue was that I use a dedicated temp drive and PS CC just cannot deal with that!!!

Close PS CC
Change the windows user environment variables to C:\Temp
Open PS CC
Download all the filters
Close PS CC
Change the user environment variables to my original setup
Open PS CC
Load a B&W image (or anything you like)
Test use the 'colorize' neural filter

It should work. If not, follow the link...

Yes, neat trick. Rongnongno I view UHH as being here for education and you seem to put a lot into educating.. Kudos to you.

I used the image negative filter to find some flaws, the flaws turned white... fixed them, and then reverted back to positive.

If your neural system download does not work or crashes, please contact me and describe the issue...

Note:
I just cleaned the thread from all posts (mainly mine) as I was trying to find a solution that seems 'permanent'. The new solution involves tricking PS CC into thinking it has already downloaded the filters.

The initial solution seems to work as long as you have not tweaked PS CC as well as the system memory settings.

I tried the neural filters a while back and I got mixed results.

I was disappointed in colorizing. Did OK on some images, seemed to pick random colors on others.

Had some luck with the portrait filter. Was able to add smiles with the "Happiness" adjustment, but you have to keep it down or you get really strange expressions. In many cases I found liquify to do a better job. However, the neural filter can add teeth while liquify just moves the existing image around.

Have not done exhaustive work with it due to limited time. However, I feel it's worth playing with.
