Mid May brings these guys through according to the locals and I beat them by a couple days!

If only they'd cooperated a little more! It was cold, windy and occasional snow and they seemed to like hiding in the sage. When they hit the trees for some seeds, they were quite easy to scare.
Looking forward to Black Point and maybe a more "southern visit". Got some business to conduct in July or August. Headed back to Sanibel in late Feb.

These guys hit the north end of the park about May 24, about the same time as the Tanagers that were more abundant and easier to shoot.
