Which one, and why?

Fascinating! The variety of reasons why one image is preferred over another is quite diverse, with reading direction and left- or right-dominant eyes being the leader. But equally interesting is the "I like #__ but I don't know why" or "#__ just feels better." My goal with my work is to get people to feel, so that is probably my favorite response!

As to "feelings", I "felt" reluctant to "push" into the scene in #2, because I'd already "felt" drawn into the scene in #1. However, then it "felt" like relief to go back to #1.

I am not sure because both of my hands have thumbs on the left and right. Nice shots and question.

Most of the time we want our subjects to be looking or moving left to right so #2.
