I need a new computer for photo editing as mine just died. I use both Lightroom and Photoshop and would like to add the Topaz suite. I saw the Dell listed below on Amazon. Does anyone have any experience with this computer?

That's much more computer than you need, but if you want it, go for it. "Gaming" computers are heavy with RAM. And, do you really need an 8 TB on-board HDD?

It's a fine choice, starting around $750 according to Dell's website. I have an XPS 'desktop' that runs 24x7x365 since 2016 with never the slightest issue. It looks like Dell has distinguished the G5 line from the XPS, where maybe the G5 wasn't an option when I was shopping back in 2016. As mentioned by comments above, you might find something cheaper, but for a digital photography platform for the next 8 ish years (if not longer), this is a good choice.

Beyond the computer, you need to consider a monitor, maybe even more important than computer nowadays. When I googled 'best monitor for digital editing' in 2016, the various Top-10 sites had options from $150 to $1000+. A mid-range 24-inch Dell UltraSharp appeared on all the lists, a monitor that too has served me well for going on 5-years.

Consider your workspace for the monitor size. I have an office desk where I'm just over an arm's length (about 33 inch) from the 24-inch monitor where I sit. There's no room to put anything larger, even if I wanted a larger size. I was presented with this issue again this past weekend where an older, like 25 years, not flat screen TV finally reached his final day. The 24-in flat screen replacement is a bit 'small' where it sits about 55-inches away beyond this office desk. But, when I took the tape-measure to that location, the next size up at 32in wasn't going to fit. I have room for 'taller' like the old model, but not wider like these 16:9 modern flatscreens.

That should do it. For eight years I used an iBuyPower i7 gamer and when the power control section of the MB went wonky I rebuilt the thing using the case (full tower) following specs from Photographylife https://photographylife.com/the-ultimate-pc-build-for-photography-needs
I used the 2019 ultimate build, they now have a newer set of specs from 2020.
Then I upgraded my Asus 27" graphic arts monitor to a BenQ 32" graphic arts/photography monitor.
About $2000 (including my local tech putting it together) for the upgrade because I reused a lot of stuff plus the cost of the monitor.

Your computer is $2000, consider spend $2000 for your monitor (or monitors). If you think it's too much cut back on the computer. Make the cost of monitor about the same as the computer. That's the way to spend someone else's money!! Especially in nonsensical ways. Do you follow that logic for your lenses to cameras too?

No I spend much more money for the camera than the lens but I have fun with the camera much more than the lens. I do spend the same amount of money for monitor and computer.
