This is a follow up to the image that I posted last week of the restored mining train on a trestle. That initial image was edited in Affinity Photo and was on layers, so changes weren't such a difficult problem to overcome, all I had to do was make up my mind on what changes were to be made.

For this round of changes, I reduced the size of the moon, but still left it larger than a normal Super Moon because, afterall, this is Digital Artistry and not reality. I also made sure the moon is behind the clouds, (I know this because I took the photo of the cloudy moonrise).

The new image has more color and contrast so, I'm inclined to like this even more than the first. But I still appreciate the constructive criticism that results from the Hedgehog viewers.

I liked the first one when you posted it. I love this one. The download is beautiful and now it feels like a nighttime scene.

Nicely done. I think the changes were for the betterment of the train. After all isn't the train the star of this shot.

Both are nice. Perhaps the 2nd is somewhat better.

IMHO, the first image has way more impact and visual interest than the second. However, the colors and lighting of #2 are most interesting and dramatic. I think the moon being completely framed by the trestle in #2 causes it to lose impact and negatively affects the outstanding composition found in #1. Also, I think the train gets a bit lost in #2. Still, both images have artistic merit and are fine efforts ...kudos!

Good job. I like the second one better--it's more colorful and it draws your eye to the subject better.

A case of divided interest between the train and the building.

I came back for a second review, Jack. I do love this! The moon helps draw attention immediately to the train. The nighttime feel also enhances the whole scene beautifully.
