Elena Shumilova, a woman living in rural Russia, has become one of the most well known European artists. All of a sudden she is all over Europe and most probably in other parts of the world, teaching her style in her workshops.
I hope those here have noticed that she usually shoots at the largest lens opening. Useless to say that the quality of her images are outstanding and she uses her children or have used them for many of her images.
Indeed she is an excellent photographer.
Stunning work. The lighting is superb, combined with excellent subject matter and composition. She demonstrates what happens when a top artist, camera, photo editor combine to create one masterpiece after another. I've never seen this many top of the line photo's in one place. Most good photographers would be happy to get a small handful, (even one), of the results that she has shown here. You can teach me to use a camera, and an editor, but talent like this cannot be taught. Hundreds and hundreds of one spectacular photo after another. Hats off to Elena.

Wow!! Thanks for sharing, Elena has a photographic eye and mind, and the ability to merge all into something greater...absolutely wonderful!!!! A true artist....I fully agree, thanks Brent!
Light is our language and Elena understands it very well,
Amazing. She's certainly an inspiration!
Very creative and dramatic. Looks like movie sets.
Absolutely awesome images!

Definitely a talented photographer who understands the use of light.

More like a Goddess of light. She controls it rather than capturing it.
She surely is a Goddess of light and also composition. Yes, a Thomas Kincaid of photography.
I was somewhat surprised at the number of Christmas photos. I don’t think of Russia as a place to celebrate Christmas unless it is as a holiday of returning to longer daylight hours as the year proceeds. Regardless, her photos are stunning.
Mystical!....just downright Mystical!
She plans....she creates....she's in control.
She doesn't let photo gear control her.
(like is does me)

Henry Moore once told me, the most important thing is to master your vocabulary so you can control your vision in your chosen medium.
I’m glad I had a second chance to look🥰👍😊

Great work but a lot of Photoshop work and aux. lighting well matched.

While I agree with what you say, I always wonder with shots like this, how much is Photoshop. They are beauties though.
She gives workshops and I'm sure the actual photograph is only half the work. Of course the other half is the post production work. I'm sure Photoshop is one of the programs she uses.........but she does it beautifully!
