This is it folks, last game of the season for me. Will not shoot another until the last week in August (which should be nice and cool lol).
The weather was overcast, sun coming out then hiding in the clouds. Couldn't use the Nikon 200-500 5.6 vr because it was not a sunny day. That lens is good only for sunny days. So I used: Nikon D4 with 80-400 4.5-5.6 vr and D500 with 70-200 2.8 which worked just fine for softball. Smaller field so the reach for first base, second, third and home plate worked great.
Enjoy all and of course comments welcome.
Throughout the summer months I will go through the galleries and try to select some shots you might enjoy.
Be safe and be well,
Jules
Nice to see someone is getting to shoot some sports, things are opening back up around here but just haven't been able to get out to anything yet.
That second photo is "killer"

You are still the MAN!! Love the shots. Yes the seasons are over. I have three games tomorrow (Girls Softball) the play in games then the Championship game. Also Saturday (Girls Soccer third place game then Championship game). Hoping these OLD legs get me through all that. Luckily the temps will be in the 60's so wearing that DAMN mask will not make me pass out in the heat!! Well hang in there my friend, this has been a very, very strange and different year to say the least. I do have some volunteer shoots coming up that I shoot (14-15) events a year for a next door neighbor city, but they also have just started having events like everyone else. Hang in there and enjoy life, and GOD keep you and your wife safe and well! Yes, will miss your photography over the summer months. Yes please post some of your older works. I know you have posted some of your older ones this year because of COVID-19 and you were the best even way back then. Keep in touch, I will try also. Thanks BE SAFE!!

Hi Ray:
Thanks for looking and your comments Ray. No. 6 I tried applying a vignette. I kind of liked that one too.
