It seems that it depends more on where you live than who does the shipping, but in this test, UPS has the edge. In a different study done on YouTube, FedEx packages has less damage.

UPS definitely has the edge in my experience. Apparently my insulated coffee mug fell off the truck and they ran over it! Took three calls, four pages of documentation and two months to get compensation!!

In three years here in Merritt Island, Florida I have not received a damaged package from any of the three shippers. I think they do a great job.

Sorry, but that is funny.

UPS doesn't like its drivers to backup. However, one of the drivers who delivers to me always backs into the driveway. I don't care, but if a family has little kids or pets outside, it would be a concern.

UPS recently made two changes in my area: different drivers and late delivery. I used to give the driver a tip at Christmas, so I guess that change will save me money. I might be tipping a guy who is here for the first time. With the later delivery, I've gotten packages anywhere from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. Saying a package will be delivered on Thursday, means I probably won't be able to use the item till Friday.
