I have Roku on my TVs and love it, but sometimes frustrating having so many apps/channels to select from. Is there any way to sequence the apps/channels to make it easier to go to the channels you are subscribed to or watch frequently.
I usually watch Netflix, YouTube, The Great Courses Plus, and AcornTV through Roku. I just use the arrow keys to move to the appropriate icon and press Enter. I tried watching some other - free - channels, but the commercials are brutal.
I found this with a Google search:
Another way to customize your Roku is to change the order that channels appear on the Home screen. Select any of the channel buttons, hit the star button on the remote, and pick Move channel. Then use the navigation pad on the remote to put the channel wherever you want it.
I bought a Roku a week ago to make my semi-smart tv smarter and I'd been looking for this very feature, so thanks for the push to find out how! (after you move an icon, click OK to keep it there)
Another tip: on home screen click on settings, then home screen, then Featured Free. You can click "hide" on those if you don't watch any.

Thanks Linda. That's exactly what I was looking for.

There is a Roku Voice Remote. It says you can use your voice to launch channels on Roku t.v.'s.
get the free app from Roku called My channels and you can use that one app to look at all your channels.

Yes--what Linda said--it’s really easy to do and ends your frustration of hunting around.

try crackle...no commercials ,as of this time.....
I use a Firestick mic and just tell it what App I want. When the App comes up I tell it what show. No idea how I set it up or if it just happens😳

I have that, but I've never used it. I've seen too many funny bits on TV about the device not understanding.
