I have the Epson 3710 Eco Tank Printer and love it. Great general purpose printer and far cheaper to operate. I've had it for two years and still haven't had to refill the tanks, but getting close. For photos I only use it for 4X6 and 5X7 casual prints and it's okay for that too. I use Nation's Photo Lab. for larger photos.
