It may be my monitor but i do not see a magenta tint. I was actually going for a cooler look and worked with the blues.
The issue is that the original color is earth/sand color from light yellow to ocher.
Trying to cool the image makes the scene unnatural. This is why I latched on the tint.
Note this was taken in mid-morning, full sun.

I don't see it either, but I have (and relish) a cheapish monitor. Fred's looks a very slight tad warmer than yours, but I have to squint to see any difference.
