Building your own website is time consuming but not that difficult. You can get someone to do it for around $600(offshore.. eg. India) to do it if you don't have the time.
I would not use Wix. Too many ads impossed.
Most hosting companies have site builders. I prefer to use SquareSpace.
If you need more information, contact me.
If you want reliable information, try elsewhere... I'm not sure I know what I'm talking about.

I use SmugMug.
I found it easy to use and allows for private or public galleries.
Their user support is awesome!

Here’s one of those private client galleries:

If you’re an Adobe subscriber your subscription includes Portfolio. You can easily set up a professional looking website.

I love smugmug. Have used for about six years -- intended for friends and family. My biased view is that my website is quite attractive. If you wish, check it out at allanj.smugmug.com.

Some nice stuff there, Allan!
If you want to make it easier for people to look, just add the prefix https:// to make it an active link. https://allanj.smugmug.com/

Looks OK. 2GB storage limit or 20GB if you have registered a Nikon product. Wouldn't rely on it long term. Canon offered a similar service till they scrapped it last Janurary.

Nikon has had this for years. I fool around with it once in a while. There is a link in my signature.

...haha...look at your keyboard and note the proximity of the "G" and "H" keys. Of course, classically, one is operated by the right hand and the other, left.

Why not just post here? They can look at the photos posted, and if you check store original, easily download.

I have used Smugmug for years. Never lost a picture or had a problem. They get very good reviews for commercial use also- but I only do family and friends.
You can make the site its simple or slick as you wish.

If you have a LR/PS subscription you can use it to share pictures as well as the portfolio for viewing. I have not used Portfolio, so I can not comment on that feature. I do use LR for sharing, even on Facebook. It is up to you whether you allow downloads or not. You can even decide to stop sharing the posted pictures anytime you want. If you post the pictures through LRC, then they do not count against your 20gb of storage.
