I’m using LR 5.7 and have been for a few years. My problem is that it will not let me “ drag & drop” from one folder to another.
( this has always worked ) Any suggestions? Thanks

Are you doing it from the images themselves in the grid? If so, try doing it from the filmstrip below and see what happens.

I had problems with dragging files to another folder a while back. I found that I had to grab the image from The library grid view and not the white margin around it. When you start to drag it you will see a small image moving along with the cursor.

Exactly - you beat me to it. But you can do it from the filmstrip that way too.

I don’t move files often but it’s always good to learn something new.

Yes, I have always picked the pictures or pictures in the grid, made them turn white and drag to a different ( example Family vacation folder to Grandchildren folder )

Exactly what Dirt Farmer said: drag from the image, not the border. I do that all the time.
