I had some bad luck finding interesting microbes in my water samples today. Do you think I gave up? No! The vegetable fibers and algae (including diatoms) were more than enough to keep my eyes busy. The way vegetable cells and parts are constructed is fascinating
Fascinating and small can suggest designing large effectively. Also? how does such a small worm know what to eat and where the food is... no big brain there!!!... Next time I fly around the room and land upside down on the ceiling, I will stay there for a while and contemplate flight control mechanisms for helicopters that can do the same.
Some of them just move around with their mouth perpetually open. Enough food falls into it. But the question of microbe "experience" is a good one I think.
