Right-click on the image will show the image full size.
Not intuitive nor really practical.
Using nested URL seems to best...
When on UHH it is best to right-click and open as new tab...
When the image is linked from another source than UHH, it opens a new tab.
A few websites allow a direct url/image nesting posting on UHH. Flicker being one of them.

Very odd behavior on an iPad. The first one does nothing when you tap on it. But, if you press and hold, you can open it in the same tab.
The second image opens in the same tab when I tap on it, pressing and holding allows you to open in a new tab, but apparently not this tab.
The third one opens in a new tab when I tap on it, pressing and holding results in the same pop up menu as the other two.
I can’t tell if any of them are opening the original image, or just the image in the webpage.

Thank you for a good tip. I have never done that and it works beautifully!
The last image is a png and it didn't enlarge when I did this. It did open in a new tab.
