Late to the party again, but when I cut these suckered off my dogwood, I couldn't resist basing them to see how long they last.

They're awesome - and a fine composition πŸ₯‡

I'm enjoying people's beautiful flower posts and thought I'd toss some in ... starting in late winter when it "begins" in Western Washington. We're now heading into full-on springtime with early rhodies opening. My photos are less artistic and more documentary. :-) Some of your creative shots are amazing.

What a gorgeous variety for usπŸ†’πŸ†’πŸ†’πŸ†’πŸ†’

I always look forward to spring and seeing something new everyday blossoming and blooming. While spring may be on and off around here (drought, late freeezes) there is still beauty everywhere. Hope you all are seeing some signs of spring in your neighborhood that you will share with us. A few from my yard to start us off:

Thanks for hosting kats

That has been one of my fears... that someday I'd see one had climbed a few steps to get to the container plants on the deck! So far... so good. I've stopped growing tulips in the garden though... too frustrating trying to keep repellent on them in our drizzly climate.

Thank you for sharing your pretty shots!

Thanks, we now block off the deck.

Great seeing plants from other parts of the country. I've scrooled through both of your sets a couple of times today. The witch hazel shot and the snow drops are beautiful. Thanks for posting.
