Last games of the soccer season.
Baseball and softball start this Thurs. Can't wait.

Most of these shots were taken with a Nikon D500 80-400 4.5-5.6 vr auto iso auto wb. Average iso around 350-500.

Jules a very convincing series to validate that soccer is truly a full contact sport.
Some surreal captures here... incredible pivotal moments indeed.

The aerial players in the first and third captures appear to be virtually floating...

Amazing what 10 or 11 fps can yield...
And both the D500 and D4 have buffers that can support this kind of throughput...

The brutal elbow strike to the sternum in capture seven is a testament of how aggressive these delicate young ladies can be. Guessing it wasn't called since both were going for the ball. However reckless play comes to mind.

Loving the diversity of this mix of stellar reportage...
I'm absolutely certain that these will be warmly received by your clients.

You're so very lucky to have lots of brilliant sunshine in Las Vegas...
We are stuck in the monsoons and fog here in the east... lol

Please keep posting your inspirational renderings Jules.
And stay safe we are not out of the woods yet... Thanks!

Jules a very convincing series to validate that so... (show quote)

Not out of the woods is so right Thomas.
Thank you for looking and sharing your insight with the club. I know all our club people appreciate it.
Be safe as well.

Nice, sharp images Jules. Some of my outings shooting soccer just reinforced how much of a contact sport soccer is. I'm now shooting a minor league basketball team and can't help but think if a cop was on site, there would be charges of assault!

Your third image reminds me how illusive catching the moment the ball and head make contact. Hoping to get one of those some day!

Thanks for commenting. Yes the soccer players whether boys or girls can get pretty rough sometimes.
The head shots just come with zeroing in on a player. Thru the game you can tell who are the very active players and who to watch.
