A very early start, the tree started blooming last week.
First image - One shot at f40 focused halfway into the flower

Should have done a three image stack.

Excellent...don't know if you would notice much of a difference with a three image stack, Frank...these are really good and I like the shallow dof in#1!!

I agree with you on not much diff.
The Nikon 200mm f4 macro does a fine job with the dof.
