Is anyone doing any tethered shooting using Lightroom Classic and a Sony A73 camera ?

Lightroom Classic does not support direct tethering with any Sony camera. You can set-up a watched folder in LrC and use other software to set-up the tether. I believe that Sony offers free tethering software for their cameras. I'm a Canon shooter and have used this configuration, as LrC did not support live view tethering until the last release.

There are a number of cell phone apps that can be used to tether to cameras. Some require a cable, and others work wirelessly if the camera is WiFi capable.

A friend of mine shoots product for a company's website. He shoots tethered all the time except he is shooting a Nikon D3 and sending images directly to Photoshop on his Apple laptop.

I've never been successful with Lightroom and tethering. I use Capture One without any issues. I would imagine they support the Sony Cameras with tethering, certainly worth a look.
