If so, anyone having trouble running it on windows 10? I'm having trouble with it running slow, locking up, not responding, and generally just being a pain in the rear. Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Stu, I use Affinity most every day on a Windows 10 computer and seldom ever encounter any problems with it. Does your system met the requirements for Affinity? I believe the information is listed on their website.

No help, but a data point. Have Win 10 and Affinity and have not experienced any performance problems.

Sorry to hear of your probs. I use Affinity - no probs at all. Does it indicate lack of sufficient RAM or Disk space?

No problems at all, keep both windows 10 and affinity updated to latest and all works well.

Stu, you did not mention what you have under the hood of that W-10 computer.
Even if you have fast ram you need to go into the BIOS and adjust the speed from default.

Here is a start for DDR-3 DDR-4 much the same. You should also test your ram to make sure it is not faulty ... RAM sticks are not necessarily forever.

Have you run free Virus check AVAS? , Also Malwarebytes free.

Do you have a graphics card. NVIDIA is preferred because of the programing language should you care to do some AI modifications in the future. {Google-Deep Dreams requires it for on computer program... not for online} Low cost is about $150 I have an NVIDIA 1050Ti with 4 gigs of onboard memory, I think 1060TI is newer better, Ask Mr Google.

I've used AP for about 3 years with absolutely zero problems of the sort described. It's certainly not slow on my current compurter which I recently purchased. Somewhat slow on my old, previous computer but very quick now (both being Win 10).

You might try reinstalling and if that doesn't improve things contact the AP Forum and/or Serif directly for help. I've received good support from both. These problems are not normal or usual.

I use Affinity Photo and I run it with Windows 10. Never an issue. May I suggest that you contact Affinity Photo for an answer.

I use Affinity Photo exclusively and love it. My using it on an iMac may be a reason why it runs so smooth.

I'll chime in to with the others... no problem here on my Win10 PC, but I have a fairly robust unit with 64GB Ram installed, Intel i7 processor, 500GB Samsung M.2 as my C: drive for OS and programs, NVidia 1060GTX with 6GB memory, and two 4TB HDD installed.

Thanks for the replies. It's a HP laptop, Intel pentium processor, 500 GB. Only 4 GB installed RAM. So maybe the 4 gig RAM maybe problematic?

The site says 4 gb is minimum for Affinity, but that hardly runs anything anymore, including Windows itself If you have other open programs, including virus software, I would certainly think that could be the culprit.
