One of the tiny species of bee fly. These often sip nectar from flowers: https://bugguide.net/node/view/1239750
They are indeed very mosquito-like, but its a different family.

Maybe a fairy fly which is a very small parasitic wasp? They range in size from .05mm-.1mm.
