Two Trees And A Mountain

Just got back from the Adirondacks. We spent a few days there to get away for a while. This was taken at Horseshoe lake which is between Tupper Lake and Little Tupper Lake. The sun had just risen behind me and lit up both of these trees quite nicely. Very little processing necessary for this one. Hope you like it. Others to follow.

Nice light. A few moments more and you wouldn't have had the selective lighting that you got.

Lovely landscape. The bare tree adds interest but still let you admire the distant landscape.

You are right. Five minutes earlier, nothing was happening. Five minutes later and there was nothing special. I think I got it just right. So much of landscape photography is wondering if the light is going to do you favors. Sometimes it does and other times....not so much. THanks for taking a look.

I don't think I would have liked this as much with leaves on the one tree. The contrast between tree types is part of what makes this photo work.

This one worked out well for me. Once I saw that both trees were lit up, I realized that I did not have much time to get a composition. I had to scramble around the weeds a bit to get everything lined up. Worked out well, I think. Thanks for taking a look.
