We have the good fortune to have quite a few wildflowers on the property, most natural, some the result of buying and planting native wildflower seeds. My Wife told me last night that the Pasque Flowers had started. So, with camera in hand, I tramped through the weeds to find some. Did find one, and the light color is a bit unusual. Fabulous set, QD. The D810 and the 105mm really produce a stunning image.

Wonderful set! The subtle pastels in Download really show! That D810 and 105 combo can really shine! Thanx for sharing!

Excellent shots. The flowers are unusual. I love all the hair on the back of the petals and the center are intricate and lovely.

Thank you! It is getting silly, two of my cameras might as well have the lens fixed! I rarely take the macro off the D810, or the 200-500 and extender off the D7200. Works pretty well, though!

Thanks! Got out early so the light was at a low angle to pick out the detail. Note to self - next time after wildflowers, bring a small pair of scissors or clippers to get rid of overlapping weeds!

I suppose. Thank you! I will take a photo of almost anything that is well lit, attractive or interests me. You will see a lot more flowers from me as the wildflower season continues and the garden comes up!
