Did a search and didn’t see anything. For mac users only please. I just pulled the trigger and purchased a new M1 Mac Mini with 16GB ram. I've been using a mid-2011 27" iMac since 2011. It only went to High Sierra and doesn’t have ML Graphics so more and more apps don’t work on it. I'd hoped to use the screen as my monitor for the mini but Apple stopped supporting that.

So I am researching monitors that I can AFFORD. I shoot full frame 27MB images.

So my questions:
1. Do I need 4k or can I go with 2K like my iMac monitor?
2. Do I need a monitor that supports Thunderbolt or just HDMI 2.0 (those are the specs for the mini).
3. I'd like a 27" because I have a sunscreen for that size already but is there an advantage of a 32" for photography?
4. Any real life suggestions (meaning you own it).

Remember cost is a factor - I'd like to be able to own a $1,600 BenQ but way out of my budget which is more like $400 at the top in.
