Like all good informal portraits, this allows one to guess at the personality of the subject. It also has a film look which I always find appealing. Well done!
Thanks, quixdraw. One of the things that drew me to take her photograph was her personality. Having been able to observe the subject for a bit of time, the content demeanor, hopefully, shown in the photograph, was what I observed.

Very nice; which film did you use? The grain is extremely uniform.
Hi, rfmaude41. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
The film was Ilford FP4+, Jobo processed in Ilfotec DD-X at 20c.

Another great human study. I probably asked and forgot the answer. Are these candid shots or do you talk to the person before or after?
Thanks for the visit and comment, Curmudgeon.
These are totally candid. I not only talked with Cabbie (the clown) but gave him a print of the photo. He appreciated that. That was about a week later.
I attempted to talk to the lady as she was leaving but some folks entering the crowded patio area foiled that attempt. I was hoping to do some posed photographs with her. If nothing else, offer her a print. Such is life at times.
