I bought a Manfroto close up kit. A series of 3 tubes +1 with the attachment to the lens. Not the cheapest but pretty far from the most expensive. In testing it out I put the ring with the lens attachment on a lens. Now I cannot get the ring off. Photo 1 is the set with my lens, 2 is my lens with the ring on it. I thought the chrome screw would be the key. I have tried to move the ring while moving the screw, I removed the screw - it seems
nothing helps. Of course it came with no directions, Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it's anything like mine the chrome screw has to be pushed forwards or backwards, and held there, while unscrewing the ring from the lens. I've got my fingers crossed!

No luck on my end - do you recall which way you were twisting? This is the piece on the lens, it would need another piece to attach to the camera. Again, any help is greatly appreciated.

I guess my next move would be to call the manufacturer and see if they have any advice.
Rejoice with me! I took the lens with the stuck ring to my local camera shop and after fooling with it managed to get it off.
Thanks guys.
