Beautiful job. Now tell us more about the construction details please. Looking at all those compound curves and the reinforcing rib in the center, it looks like you might have started with a cylinder of some type (maybe an air tank?) and sliced it in half longitudinally?

Looks like a dandy! There are flavors created with outdoor cooking that just can't be duplicated indoors.

Is finally finished, well almost
Still needs a shelf across the front.
This is my last BBQ , when this one rust out I'LL quit Outdoor cooking
And the first thing cooked!!
Started cooking on the long side as a whole slab of baby backs then move to the short side cut in half for indirect grilling.
Now I will be eating Ribs for the next week

LP tank, they are made in two pieces. grills are 1/4" cold rolled steel and the fire grates are salvaged cast iron from what? I don't know, Lid hinges are 1/2" rod in tubing, stacks are thin wall tubing with Tractor exhaust flappers for air control, draft vents are thin wall tubing with stainless exhaust band clamps for air control.

Thank you! Great job - even fabricated your own hinges - impressive.

Thank you, but it's not rocket science, I have been building things since I was old enough to pick up tools , a lot of the projects were not successful but they did teach me if it don't work make changes!!!!
