Love the second shot. Gatlinburg and the smokies are definitely worth visiting. Been there several times.
Thanks, this was our first trip there. Way too much to see being there just once. The red bricks of the Gallery were glazed and ever so bright. I suspect it was built that way to draw attention to it for it surely stood out from the other little shops that were shoulder to shoulder there.
Thanks, of course it was all there for me to see so I just had to be in the right place. The Nikon D810 does all the work and I just have to give it the settings that it wants.
The other day I posted a image of the footbridge and spillway located on the Biltmore Mansion Estate property. This is a post of that stream a bit further down the road. I got wet feet taking this one and at least I didn't fall in.
Part of the trip was a visit to Gatlinburg which I'm sure many of those here have been to. There is a string of shops with something there for everyone. This quaint alleyway caught my eye so I could not resist seeing it through the lens of my camera to bring back as a memory of an enjoyable time.

Thanks, it took me about 100,000 shots before I realized how to better fit the camera settings to the subject. I took these with my Nikon D810 and I'm approaching 250,000 shots on it now so every so often a few of them are bound to come out okay.
