UHH has a 10 picture limit per initial post ...

I've noticed and always wondered why when posting images of the same subject someone would include a mediocre at best image or images along with those of stellar quality.

In a multiple image post, I only remember the best and the worst. Maybe, that’s why I rarely post in gallery. It will expose me?

My thoughts...a different take on the subject. Over the last months I've posted a single photo perhaps 10 times. Each photo appeared only in the temporary, new post section and received positive comments. The photos all died there with less than 200 views. I questioned "administration " as to why my photos weren't included in the photo gallery and the answer was that they were...in another area of the UHH universe. (I still assume that to be untrue since those photos died with few views) Last week I posted 10 photos...and they were posted to the gallery without administration cancellation. I had decided that if Admin didn't post the 10 I would migrate to another forum but with the end result you all will have to put up with seeing my groups of 10 for a while longer.

You are misunderstanding how UHH works.

The emailed daily digest is just that - a sampling of topics. You'll note that Photo Gallery has 35 spots in that email. However, if you use "newest topics" link at top of any UHH page to do your browsing, you'll find that Photo Gallery sees between 50 and 100 new topics every single day. In the "alternate universe" of the full Photo Gallery, each time a topic gets a response, the topic is bumped to top of page. This is Photo Gallery:

Any topic you've posted there is still there, among thousands of others.

"Upcoming topics" in the emailed digest consists of links to random new topics and changes frequently within a 24-hour period. It has nothing to do with thread popularity (number of views or comments).

One more note: the digest excludes forums to which you're not subscribed. At the bottom of this page you'll find the link to "all sections." See how many there really are?

Very true Bill, one good one with a lot of impact can be more pleasing than many, but I wonder if some who do that may be looking for input from others as to 'which is best'? Just a thought.
