Printer Issues - with Win10 update.
Long story - finally resolved by uninstalling 2 Win10 updates and updating again. If you are having sudden issues with a printer, either scanning or print functions, you may want to check out Win10 updates. I'm sorry I cannot, at this time, provide info on which updates. I had scanning issues which are now resolved.
Trying to helpful!

At least you were able to get the problem resolved!

Yes. Actually, I had a remote session with a tech from the local computer shop that built my computer and he was the one who had knowledge of a Win 10 update causing the issue. It is a wonderful shop and local.
Thanks,

A lot to be said for dealing with local companies.

I've used them since 2012. I can solve most computer issues, but when I can't I use tech support (local, online, chat, call, ...). I don't give up easily, but when I'm stumped, I ask for help UHH is certainly a viable option for assistance. You are a "master", Chris!!

Thank you both for the kind words (now if you would only tell my wife)
Every time I get a windows update, my printer settings get hosed up. Why is that? Seems a premier software company could make an update installer smart enough to leave user settings alone. Same thing with my iPhone - every software update requires me to set up my security settings all over again.

She probably would not believe me!! Food & gifts are the way to woman's mind and heart.
Take her to MacDonald's and after, buy her a box of Good & Plenty.

Sorry to hear that, Stan. I do not recall many issues with Windows updates. Apparently the printer issue was caused by a conflict of a recent Win10 update and the Canon driver for the new Pixma TS6320. It was resolved after uninstalling the update and reinstalling it. I certainly understand the frustration experienced with conflicts related to updates. I spent a good part of four days in "Chats", phone calls, searching, uninstalling, reinstallng, ... It kept me busy, but I always learn from these type experiences.
Stay safe & well,
Mark

Mark, I always delay updating for several days -usually a week or more. I let others be the beta test team.
