I got up early this morning, looked out into our backyard and noticed the Moon was setting through the trees. I put the 70-300 on the 80D, snapped a few and here are my two favorites (taken a minute apart) that show the Moon framed by the trees. They were both taken at 300mm (FF lens, crop sensor camera), with the first one being cropped to about 40%, the second to only about 80%. These are best in download.
Beautiful captures and rendering. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Laura, I'm happy to share. I caught it when I wasn't fully awake while I was getting ready to make our morning coffee. I could have easily missed it.

Thank you for the thumbs up, I'm glad you enjoyed my photos.
This is lovely. Night before last the rising moon was awesome, so last night I planned to try to shoot it. At 8:30 it still wasn't visible. Clouds!

Thnak you very much for your comments. Sometimes you get lucky with the conditions; I could have easily missed this opportunity.
