A question for those that have mirrorless camera's that shoot sports has your keeper rate of images that are in-focus higher with the mirrorless than with your DSLR? I shoot football and baseball with a D4 and D850 of which the D850 has a higher keeper rate with the group focus. Thanks

I also shoot with a D4 and use group focus. I have nothing to compare it with. My other camera is D500.

Personally, I have NOT found my Z6 to be useful for sports action. Group Focus was/is a great choice for action sports. All of the single digit D series cameras were the best for sports action during their time. The D4s, D5 and D6 are better choices for sports action than the D850 IMHO. The D850 was not a bad choice, it was just not designed for sports action. The D850 is a superior camera otherwise, IMHO. Never owned/used a D4, so I can't say. Best of luck.

Thank you. I'm watching how things play out this year as there are lots of changes going on. I may go ahead and buy a D5 but I'm in a holding pattern for the moment. I notice a lot of sport shooters are going Sony but I'm heavily invested in Nikon glass.
