Just going through the archives and came across this late night rendition of my best bud Jack... Don't recall what steps I took as I don't like cookie cutter approaches and prefer to just Wing It until if just feels right. Jack had the most gorgeous loving eyes... Hope you enjoy !

I think this is a cool creation. It took me just a minute to see "Jack" but he is there. Hope he doesn't mind being abstract art!

Thank you Carol.... his original Bandana was red and maybe is not so obvious in this rendering. Just think how boring the world would be if we all expressed things in the same way; thanks for your kind words.

It is certainly an unusual rendition of your pal. If it was mine and it is only a suggestion I would show a bit more of his face and ears. Always good to play with an image and see what developed.

Thanks for looking Frank.... Going back and redoing renderings is a favorite pastime of mine... I guess since I was so familiar with the subject matter his image just jumps right out. Appreciate your comment.

What a wonderful abstract. All of my abstracts start out with a less than perfect picture which I attack with every tool I have until I get bored or something wonderful pops out.

Thanks cookie... I am not ready to change my handle to " Captain Obvious " yet... I normally do ACR in photoshop and then just play with filters and plug-ins after doing the obvious basic touchups like black/white points etc... Its fun to just wing it and move the sliders until it " it feels so right " as the our local boys said in their song ! Not that I know them but the Alabama boys just live around the corner... Anyhow, thanks for your kind words.
