https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuFx1yd78y0I examined a dried deposit in the back of a little plastic bird
that was cast into a flower pot. When the stiff substance began
to open up and dissolve in a drop of water, I realized that the
substance was nothing less than a dried biofilm.
Indeed as the song says, "its a strange world we live in master Jack, " I would add that "its a strange world that lives within us, Faster Jack." While these biofilms do not live within us the point is that the bio world is a strange unseen world.
My "Smartphone Adapter for Microscope" came from Amazon yesterday; not yet tried. I have a Binocular scope with low magnification. The adapter comes in two sizes, 26 and 28mm. When ordering the 28mm is a couple dollars more both about $20. Ordering the 28mm the price is slightly higher... the order reads 26mm with the 28mm price, that was of concern to me, but the unit comes as 28mm because the price was for the 28mm. The adapter is well designed and will fit a range of Cellphones.
Do you have a stereo microscope (magnifications in the range of 40x) or a compound microscope (magnifications in the 1,000x range)?
