Congratulations on a magnificent article that takes us all back in time. How soon we forget that our nation was built on the backs of the children during the industrial age. Life on the farms was quite grueling then as well and the families were large mostly in part because there would be more hands to tend the needs of the farm.
I often wonder how today's generation of children would deal with what those generations had to endure.
