It was a really foggy morning at Smith Oaks Rookery, High Island, Tx. I took about 1000 images and was not too disappointed with the quality considering the conditions. I will post more later. Nest building is in full mode right now. Almost every egret was searching for material.

These are great shots Ken! There is a heron rookery at one of my favorite hikes that has a constant stream
of birds shuttling back and forth right now with building materials, some of it looking pretty hard to fly with.

Thanks, Johnny. I saw quite a few birds have to drop their sticks because of weight or length during the day.
