Great shots as always, never get tired of looking at your work. I especially like the third one. Keep posting as we all love it. I went to Sub-State girl's basketball game Saturday. It was a tough shoot. I couldn't get very close, tape on floor. people were in the way cheerleaders etc. Never really got a good angle. The bottom bleacher seats 5 rows up you couldn't sit there. I just couldn't get what I wanted. Jim ate my butt. Said he went through the first 90 and NONE were professional. So I went in and got rid of a ton and tried to crop some to make what he wanted they looked pretty good. Well I cropped some and then I exported into a new folder. I always do. Well when I go into the new folder and look it will change them back to the original photo. It has something to do with the lock/unlock in the crop and straighten panel in Lightroom 6. I haven't figured it out yet but working on it. Enough of that. Girl's soccer starts Thursday this week and baseball next Tuesday, YEA. Will see how it goes for baseball (can't shoot inside of fence, no dugout nothing) which I had always been able to do. Thanks BE SAFE.

Wonderful shots Jules.
Nice to see some sports action again.
Some sports have started back up around here, but only parents are allowed to attend games, and that's all the from Pee-Wee up to the College level.
Keep'em coming.

Is there any chance of sports this year for you? I think most states are opening up on high school sports now. I now can shoot baseball outside of fences and no dugouts (although state contact said I can shoot from inside bullpens as long as it is fenced in and nobody else is in there. My soccer will be outside of fences at one three field complex we have. One of the AD did tell me they were going to try and play more of the games at our two big stadiums. On those fields I can be from the 10 yard line back to end zone on the sidelines and can shoot from the end zones. Thank goodness. That will be away from good sideline shots but with my 200-500mm lens I will be able to get some shots. Track I don 't know for sure, one AD told me I could shoot from the corners. Whatever that means, I will have to see when track starts on the 23rd March. Good luck hope you can shoot SOON. Thanks BE SAFE.

With the 200-500 lens we can shoot a lot of stuff. It is a powerful beast. You will be fine. Happy Shooting.

Thanks for looking Tom. Only parents allowed?? What about photographers? Do they have to be in the stands? Hopefully rules will adjust and change as we go along.

Hi Tom: Maybe stay away from basketball for this season. We must shoot and fill the frame with absolutely no cropping. Cropping just cripples the image quality.
What lens are you using for bb? If it is an 85 1.8 no way are you close enough. I use that lens when I am under the basket. That's it. 70-200 2.8 to the middle of the court and that's it for that lens.
Be well and be safe.
Jules

Yep ready for all the other sports to start this week and next. Yes, my back and forth with Jim. Had to crop to get anything close. Sent me two of mine to look at and yes I did see the grain he was talking about. I am going through and getting rid of bad shots, see if I have any left to post on Max. Thanks BE SAFE. Post when you get some shots.
