A possible solution to the Antikythera Mechanism, considered the world's oldest computer.

I ran across this article and I though it would be of interest to the astronomers in the astronomy forum here. It's not photography related but I found it interesting all the same.

The ancient Antikythere mechanism computes the position of the 5 known planets in the sky. I've been interested in this device for a long time and the mathematics are interesting considering the belief that the earth was the center of the universe at the time this device was built. It's also amazing what was possible during our ancient ancestor's times.

I read about this today. What amazed me is that gears were invented 150-150bc and then apparently list for centuries.
