An excellent textbook example of a real-life vanishing point composition. This would be a fascinating at night composition also.
Two comments...
1. Real-life, the world is cluttered and so is photography in a real-life situation.
2. Testbook composition... moving right or left up or down can make or break a composition. Since we are psychologically and culturally tuned to react to composition, then it is a complement to your regarding your sensing or following formula to have a good composition.
