Cold and getting colder

The other day was cold and overcast with a few snow flurries thrown in as well. I went out with the specific intent to find subjects that would work well in b&w. I thought the weather and the monochromatic lighting would be helpful to this search. Whaddya think?

Don't know why the thumbnail is so small - download for best view, I guess...

I love how the triangle of the roof mimics and points towards the triangular mountain. A great POV and the B/W choice is perfect!

Tommy, you captured the mood here. Nice shot. The "hill" in the background also adds to the composition.

Wonderful scene for b&w. I like this a lot!

Thumbnails on UHH are always reduced to 600 pixels wide, Tommy (unless the original uploaded file is smaller than that) Hot-linked images, such as from flickr, show up as whatever size the OP shares - so they often fill the page.)

I really like this image, Tommy! It works extremely well for B&W.

I would guess the color image would be nearly B&W.
