Burst can get some funny results. The next frame the bird had flared its wings to slow for the perch on the feeder.

Great shot! It seems like the next shot should show the sparrow dropping like Wiley Coyote.

Burst shooting can get some strange seeming images. Like the famous experiment where the race horse tripped a series of cameras as it went by and they found that sometimes all four feet are off the ground.

She landed on the feeding station on the back side of the feeder and in less than a second one male finch landed on the one on this side and another male tried to join in. If there are several birds coming to feed the top perches are favored (don't get pooped on?).
