Well done! Iβm not a big fan of this genre but I recognize good photography.π

I have been trying to get better with my maternity portraits - with lighting and posing. Let me know your thoughts-what would you change-how would you make them better?
Thanks
Maggie
I don't profess to be a portrait expert but your images look beautiful to me.

I think you have done great work with these. The only thing I might comment is to say that numbers 3 & 7 are the best. Why? Because they emphasizes the uniqueness of the woman -- her pregnancy. Many of the others look to me more like excellent partial nudity, but with a pregnant model. I like it when she acknowledges and focuses on her baby.
I think these are outstanding.
These are all fabulous and artistic, worthy of cover photo status. I wish the leg in #3 was a little slimmer but that's just me.
Outstanding shots by a true pro, well done!

Don't worry, you did justice to your client!
I think you've done a great job!
Excellent images Maggie!

Ditto on the excellent, well done, etc. Your question was on lighting & posing and in my opinion you have them both down, much better than most I have seen, so would not attempt to suggest improvement. My only suggestion would be that every shot does not have to be "far away pensive" in expression. For some have them look at the camera or smile or laugh - kind of that "look what I have done" way, as an expression of happiness in growing a baby, or whatever. And, don't forget to include the dad in some if available. Took two to tango and the baby will appreciate it in the future.

They look very professional to me also. Nicely done.
