The new Penobscot Narrows Bridge near Bucksport, Maine under lights in a late October 2010 shot. The old obsolete Waldo-Hancock Bridge to the left looks like a ghost in comparison. As the air temp drops, mist rolls off the towers and creates a canopy that shadows reflect off of.

This photo has historical meaning as the State had the older bridge demolished about 5 years ago. The only things remaining are the concrete piers in the water on both sides of the river and the approach ramp where I was standing, now being used as an commemorative observation site on the Prospect side.
