Hunting Dark Nebula.
Just after midnight I decided to go out following an evening writing tender documents.
Yes it was cold but not as cold as I was expecting.
It is a bit early in the year to be chasing the likes of the Cocoon Nebula, but with a clear fov to the east my target was hovering 25/30 degrees above the horizon.
Techy Bits......
William Optics Z61
William Optics 0.8 reducer FF
AA filter holder
LProMax filter
AA 183c pro
HEQ5pro (Rowen Belt modded)
Sharpcap for PA
APT for focus

Lights 25 400g 25os 300s
Darks 5 400g 25os 300s

Your efforts and equipment paid off very well. I really like the colors of the surrounding stars.

Really beautiful, Marc.
Love the star fields you get in your wide field images.
Makes me wonder if the nebula started towards the right, and moved left after it exploded over the eon's.
Leaving the dark trails behind.

The wonderings of a sun dried mind....
